How to Watch: UCA at ACU in an UAC Game in Texas

CONWAY, Ark. – No matter which poll you look at, Central Arkansas is a Top 10 FCS team. Their opponent this week, however, is a ranked team based on which poll you look at.

UCA is ranked No. 7 in the AFCA Coaches Poll and Abilene Christian is unranked. However, in the STATS PERFORM FCS Top 25, UCA is No. 5 and ACU is No. 16.

That discrepancy makes it hard to market Saturday’s game in Abilene, Texas as a matchup of Top 25 teams, but it will be an important game nonetheless.

Both teams are undefeated in United Athletic Conference games, but ACU has played two conference games. A Wildcat win would vault them ahead of the Bears in the UAC standings. A Bears’ win would keep them at the top of the standings.

ACU has conference wins against West Georgia (38-24) and Utah Tech (55-30), while UCA picked up its lone conference win three weeks ago against Austin Peay (45-17).
