Bears can’t close out series final against Central Connecticut

CONWAY, Ark. — Central Arkansas dropped its series finale against Central Connecticut on Sunday, falling 6-2 after holding an early lead.
The Bears moved to 4-6 with the decision. Jacob Pannell started on the mound for UCA, throwing 6.0 innings and allowing just one earned run, striking out five.
Owen Tracy got the scoring started in the second, blasting his first home run of the season out to the video board in left field.
Central Connecticut answered in the top of the third, leveling the game on four-straight plate appearances to get a runner aboard and moved around.
