CONWAY, Ark. — Central Arkansas has unveiled the complete 2024-25 schedule, with several high-profile opponents highlighting the non-conference portion before the Sugar Bears embark on year four in the ASUN.

“This year’s schedule will be another challenging test for our team. We don’t get the chance to play in front of our home fans often, so it will be important to make the most of those opportunities,” coach Tony Kemper said. “There are some very good teams that we will face on the road, including Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Arkansas that will really show us who we are. This schedule should prepare us well for ASUN Conference play.”

The year tips off with a pair of home games, as the Sugar Bears host Hendrix on Nov. 4 to open the year. A rematch with Samford takes place on Nov. 8, and just like that, half of the home games in non-conference are done. The other two home games before the ASUN schedule starts are CBC on the 25th, and Little Rock on Dec. 7.

As coach Kemper mentioned, UCA will face three Power 4 schools this season, playing at Oklahoma State on Nov. 20, Kansas State on Dec. 1, and Arkansas on Dec. 29. The Sugar Bears will also spend the days right before Christmas in New Orleans, playing in Tulane’s holiday tournament.

After playing Arkansas on Dec. 29th, ASUN play starts with the turning of the year. The Sugar Bears will open with Jacksonville in the Farris Center on Jan. 2, the first of nine home conference games. The Sugar Bears will face everyone but Eastern Kentucky and Bellarmine at home this season.

UCA will host four-straight at the Farris Center in February, with North Alabama (2/13), Austin Peay (2/15), FGCU (2/20) and West Georgia (2/22) coming to town. The game against the Eagles will be the first matchup against FGCU since last year’s ASUN Championship Final, and the game against West Georgia is Senior Day for the Sugar Bears’ six seniors.
