Central Arkansas suffered its first conference loss of the season, but did see its junior libero win defensive player of the week honors.

Florida Gulf Coast University won 3-1 Sunday, dropping the Bears’ record to 10-9 overall and 7-1 in conference play and sits behind FGCU, who is at 8-1 in ASUN.
UCA found itself trailing 2-0 early after FGCU won the first set 25-20 and the second set 25-18. The Bears dominated the third set to avoid the loss, 25-11. But FGCU managed to bounce back and win the fourth set, 25-23, and the match.
